Effect of growing conditions and sowing time on growth, yield and quality of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum)

An experiment was conducted during September 2019 to January 2020 at College of Horticulture, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Jagudan, Gujarat study the effect various growing conditions and sowing time on growth, yield quality fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.). In this investigation comprising two factors, first one different which have 4 sub viz. Open field, 50% green shadenet, white shadenet Naturally ventilated polyhouse second also 3rd week September, 1st October, October November were tested in SPD with 3 replications. Treatments evaluated basis characteristics fenugreek. The Oct reported minimum days for germination harvesting, maximum plant height all four cutting, attributes, number per cuttings, ha total plot, parameters, chlorophyll a, b content carotenoid content.
